By OFFIZ on Jun 29, 2008 in Real Estate
As the cost of living continues to climb, the efficiency of small house plans grow more and more popular by the day. A small house is generally one floor with one to three bedrooms that nicely flow into one other. A small house plan can come in a number of designs to suit any taste. Though country designs are one of the most popular, there are cabin, cottage and ranch home plans as well. There are even vacation home designs in the fifteen hundred square foot range and lower that can keep maintenance and care to a nice minimum. A plan for a small house can also have various roofing and foundation options to choose from as well.
Not to be left out, garage floor plans can include space for one car or more depending on the needs of the future tenant. Along with being cost efficient to build, a small house is cost efficient to heat, cool and maintain. Their cozy size often fits on the average size lot leaving plenty of room for a yard and surrounding greenery. The interior can be filled with all the creature comforts, such as whirlpool tubs, full pantries, French doors and other things that build the character of the home.
