Just because a person is going on a trip, it doesn’t mean they have to leave their CPAP machine behind. There are a number of individuals who travel extensively and still get a good night of uninterrupted rest using a travel CPAP machine. These machines are simply a small version of the same device they have at home. The difference is that it is much more compact and able to easily fit in a suitcase or bag without taking up much room. Thanks to leaps and bounds in technology, there are no longer any worries about the device being too small to give the same results as the larger model at home.
When using a travel CPAP machine, one will find the device uses the same CPAP masks as any other sleep apnea machine. Another bonus is the fact that the machine can be used just about anytime, anywhere. All one needs is a nearby electrical outlet. Because it is a prescribed medical device, as long as an individual has his or her prescription with them, travelers can even carry their CPAP device right in their carry on luggage for flights. Travelers who keep their machine with them as carry ons do not have to worry should they become separated from their luggage.
