Getting the Search Right

One of the best things about the Internet is that you can search for just about everything from just about anywhere. This can make it really convenient to find things, unlike using the traditional Yellow pages in the phone book.
I would like to think that it works perfectly, but we all know that it isn’t the case. Using the Internet means that you have to use a search engine like Google, and sometimes it is hard to ask it the right question. I find that it requires you to phrase the question properly, and sometimes that can be a chore.
For example, when I was searching for a Fort Lauderdale airport car rental company, I didn’t get the results I was looking for. It seemed that the combination of words that I did use didn’t quite work together, and there was a lot of junk in the search results.
So, I decided to change the order of the words in my search to rental car Fort Lauderdale and that seemed to work much better. Maybe it was the inclusion of airport in the search or just the order of the words, but I don’t know why it didn’t work.
I tried searching with a different location and Orlando airport car rental worked, so I don’t know why my original search didn’t work. I guess I would have to be a search engine guru to figure that out.

Spending too Much on Accessories These Days

People spend a lot of money on their cars every day. It’s a standard part of owning a vehicle really, but some of the things people buy are a little more interesting than others. It’s no wonder that so many people have gone out of their way to put together something more interesting than their driving peers so that they can be more visible and more boisterous on the road. Things like custom license plates, window graphics, and vinyl lettering plastered to the sides of vehicles are no longer just the tools of business owners with a hefty delivery truck. They find their way into just about every form of vehicle these days.

I’ve never really participated this whole different level of auto customization, as I’ve spent the better part of my life driving around slightly older, usually beaten up vehicles and have grown very fond of my shiny new sedan. However, I definitely respect those people who do use them, both to showcase their personalities and to be more vocal on the roadway, in a fun sort of way. Now, here’s hoping that the trend does not go too far and start covering wheels and gas caps. Nascar can keep that kind of car coverage to themselves.
