Spring semester is set to begin and for many of you that means one major thing: graduation! That’s a thrilling thing to think about but it can also be terrifically overwhelming. You’ve been living in the safety zone of college for four (or five … or more) years now. Graduation means getting out into "the real world" and getting on with your life. Standing at that threshold of change is certainly exciting. But it also means that you’re going to go from being that big fish in the little pond of college to swimming out in the wide open ocean of your life. And frankly, that’s really scary.

One thing that you can do to better navigate this change of life is to remember that your fraternity brothers are there for you. Despite that you’re going to graduate and go your separate ways, you still have this group of people to rely on in the years to come. To remember this, keep some symbols of frat life around you as you head into a professional career. Being able to glance at Greek Gear (like the fraternity ring on your finger) throughout the day can help bring you back to a place where you feel safe and secure. From this place, you’ll be able to move forward and on into the rest of your life.
