I recently experienced a rather interesting conversation that started out as awkward but turned out to be really informative. I was at my doctor’s office doing my annual check-up when the receptionist pointed out that there had been some problems with my Fort Lauderdale health insurance plan. I work the night shift at a local grocery store. There, I have to work from midnight to 7 AM restocking the food shelves with chips and salsa while everyone else is sleeping soundly in their beds.

Clearly this is not my dream job, and so after work I don’t just go to sleep right away. Instead, I work on day trading futures using what little money I have in the bank. Things like day trading Forex are not an exact science by any means, but it was not too difficult to understand all of the available trading systems, so by teaching myself how to use the available techniques, I’ve been able to continue to work on earning a small fortune after work every day.

I expect it will be a while before I can actually leave my job as well, but if I can work at night and make extra money in a short time during the day, I think I’ll be all right for a while. I certainly didn’t think I’d be doing this post-high school, but if I’m successful, I can’t say I have any reason to complain, and as long as the money keeps coming, no one else does either.
